Description
This curious nebula is associated with of the hot stars in the constellation of Auriga, It is both an emission nebula (red hydrogen glow) and reflection nebula (scattered blue starlight from dust). The interstellar medium is quite complicated here which can be seen by the many tendrils of iglowing gas that are all over the region.
