Description
This region here seen in close up is noted for its long elephant trunk like dark nebula at lower right that enters the field. Along with the 'trunk', the region features a stellar nursery in the constellation of Cepheus. Surrounded by hot gas and dark dusty nebulae its an amazing location in the Universe where future planets and star systems will likely form.
