Veil Supernova Remnant Eastern Side

Description
As the title implies this is the remnant of a star that has obliterated itself after running out of its last nuclear fuels. The colors are real. The blue-green color corresponds to doubly ionized oxygen and the red, singly ionized hydrogen. The leftover remains from a superheated explosion this remnant is slowly expanding outward spherically from a center point near the right edge of this image. The star that created this spectacle exploded about 8000 years ago. The intricate tendrils are created by hot fast moving stellar explosion material moving outward and colliding with dust and gas in the interstellar medium.
