Description
The Orion Nebula is in a category all its own. This naked eye visible object is a birthplace of stars and is blended with dark dust nebulae all throughout. Above the hydrogen rich red glowing main nebulae is the blue reflection nebula known as the Running Man. Within the Running Man is more red emission nebula which appears purple because of the way the blue nebula affects it.
