IC1284 Emission Nebula

Description
Tucked in a dark cloud, stars formed within and began to burn brightly, ionizing hydrogen gas in the cloud, making it visible. Thus a wonderful sight was born for all to see. This object is tiny actually but almost directly overhead in the Northern hemisphere in Summer around 9PM in Cygnus the Swan.
