North America and Pelican Nebulae
Description
The North America Nebula and the Pelican (left of center and right of center respectively) show the details and intricacies of the dark dust that sits in front of this vast hydrogen emission cloud that makes up both nebulae. It is really quite something to see and is right next to the brightest star in Cygnus called Deneb in the constellation of Cygnus to Swan.
